Myrtle passed away with her family at her side. Born to Odus and Anna McGowen in Arkansas, sister to Helen Bilardi, Lou McGowen, Edward McGowen, Lee Foster and the late Lucile McGowen Santos. Loving wife of John Krkich for 66 years. Beloved mom of Kathy Krkich (dec), Melinda Kralyevich, Lorna Rodrigues and son-in-laws Tony Kralyevich and Ed Rodrigues. Loving "nannie" to Sarah and Cody. Dearest friend of Amy Appolonio for over 60 years.
Myrtle was beautiful inside and out and her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. She was an avid reader, wonderful mother and supportive friend. She taught Catechism for ten years at her longtime parish, St. Frances Cabrini. Her greatest treasure was her family.

Visitation on Sunday, January 13th from 1 to 5 pm at Lima Family Mortuary, 710 Willow Street, San Jose. Funeral mass on Monday, January 14th, 10 AM at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 15333 Woodard Rd., San Jose: interment at Oak Hill Cemetery.
