Evangelism was Natalia’s passion and delight. She came to know the Lord as her personal Lord and Savior in 1952 and became a member of the Church of God where she obtained her preaching license. She had a love for people’s souls to eternal life.
Natalia was also a leader in the community. Her mission extended even when serving the community at cultural centers and organizations while employed through the City of San José. Her fervor for the Lord was always manifested in all she did. She took great joy in serving people and sharing the Lord’s words.
Natalia was predeceased by her husband Jose Venustiano Barrientos, her mother Ma. Hipolita G. Ramirez, her grandsons: José Francisco, Barrientos, Jr., Stephen Matthew Turner and David Barrientos, Jr.

Today we remember our mother; and, though we miss her, we celebrate her new life and are consoled that she is with our Heavenly Father. The Lord has called home His beloved child. We thank her for the sacrifices she made for each and every one of us. We thank her for teaching us that God is our strength, comfort and joy. That God’s word is true: Hope overcomes despair. Joy overcomes sorrow. Peace overcomes hostility. Love overcomes hate. We remember that in the silence of the heart, God speaks. And, He has spoken to each and every one of us in His special way. We have all learned these important truths from the mom that God gave us.
