Nestor Rillera Nebre

On Sunday, April 24, 2022 Nestor passed peacefully in his sleep at his home, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Nestor was born on June 15, 1958 in Naguilian La Union, Philippines. He graduated from Baguio Colleges Foundation with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Degree. Fell in love and married his soulmate, then resided in San Jose California in 1985. Where he then worked as a Lead but promoted to Supervisor with Solectron Corporation, became a Lead with Impax Laboratories, and then finally worked as a technician to manufacture medical devices and medication with Abbot Laboratories, Pure Wafer, and Phynexus.

Nestor was blessed with a large and loving family. He was a loving husband to Merly, an amazing father to his son, Jason and his two daughters, Janely and Cheryl. He was also the best dog dad to his two furry babies, Mimi and Momo.

Nestor was the most kind, patient and loving person you could ever meet. He could always find the good in every person and every situation. He always loved to be surrounded by his family and friends, and would have gatherings almost every weekend to be able to have everyone spend time together. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

An all-day visitation for Nestor will occur on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and May 22, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A rosary service for Nestor will also be held Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125. The final visitation will then occur Monday, May 23, 2022 from 8:15 AM to 9:00 AM at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
