Pattie Lou Price

Pattie Price, one of three children born to Lottie and Len Price in Hillsdale, Kansas. Both Lottie and Len are deceased. Both her sister Colleen, and her brother Gerald are deceased. Pattie leaves two children and three grandchildren. Her son is Howard Ray Peffer Jr., her daughter is Brenda Lynn Peffer. Ray and his wife Sheila have two sons, Keith, and Greg who is deceased. Brenda and her husband Joe have two sons, Kyle and Tyler.

Pattie was born and raised on a farm in Kansas. She always said she was the one to “slop the hogs and feed the horses” after her brother went off to WWII in the Merchant Marines. She loved sports and airplanes. She learned to fly an airplane while at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. She went to Colorado University (CU) in Boulder Colorado, San Jose City College and San Jose State University. Her main diploma was PHT (Putting Hubby Through). Pattie worked for the Mayor of San Louis Obispo, Fred Lucksinger, while getting her PHT. She then got a job at GE and became a manager there. She went on to work for Applied Technology Assoc., TRW and NGC as a software manager. She worked double shift at GE to help her son and daughter get through college and graduate school. She was very proud of her children, her son a prominent lawyer and partner of his law firm, and her daughter a Vice President of Marketing in high tech.
