Paul Shir

Paul Shir passed away on October 20, 2024 at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, CA at the age of 75. Paul was born on August 4, 1949 in Thakek, Laos to Keng and Jiep Shir. He immigrated to the United States with his brother, Tim, and has lived in Milpitas, CA since 1980.

Paul was a proud family man. He and his wife, Wanna, celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary this year. He was most proud of being a loving father to his daughter, Angeline. Spending time with his family and friends was one of his favorite things to do. Family and friends will remember his love for football, specifically the San Francisco 49ers, and his annual Super Bowl watch parties.

Paul is survived by his wife, Wanna, daughter, Angeline Keng, and loving pup, Lulu. Paul is also survived by his younger brother, Tim. He is preceded in death by his parents, Keng and Jiep, and siblings, Bounmak and Gek Hong.

Family and friends are invited to attend the service in honor of Paul Shir at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park at 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 3-8PM.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 9AM-1PM.
