Rick S. Melendez

Rick entered the United States Air Force in 1971 and served this great country until 1973 when he was discharged honorably.

He married his best friend Linda and shared his life with her traveling, playing bingo, fishing, going to the casino and raising a family. He was a great story teller and shared his many adventures while they were driving down the road. Those stories will be fondly remembered.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Rick, on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, with a rosary at 6:30 PM at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel. On Friday, September 6, 2024 a Funeral Mass will occur at 10:00 AM at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church on 88 Race Street, San Jose, CA 95126, with burial to follow at 11:30 AM at Oak Hill Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Avenue, San Jose, CA 95125 within the Grandview Lawn section of the cemetery.
