Rosario Salvatore Turturici

Rosario Salvatore Turturici passed away on November 21, 2025 in San Jose, California, at the age of 91. He was born on March 30, 1934, in Trabia, Sicily to parents Filippo and Basilia (Teresi) Turturici.

He is survived by his loving wife, Anna (Barone) Turturici and his devoted sons, Phillip Turturici (Sandra), Tony Turturici (Linda), and Andrew Turturici (Marilyn).

Rosario was very proud of his grandchildren and the young adults they have grown into. He is survived by his granddaughters, Brielle Turturici, Allyssa Miller (Justin), and grandsons Marcello, Nicholaus (Samantha), Aaron, Alexander, Austin, and Aidan Turturici. He was a cherished great-grandfather to Scarlett and Raelynn Turturici, and Lincoln and Hayes Miller.

Rosario's dear sister, Mariella Faruggia, will forever miss him. Rosario was preceded in death by his father, Filippo Turturici, and his mother, Basilia (Teresi) Turturici.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a viewing at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose, CA 95125 on Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a vigil held at 6:00 PM. Visitation will begin the following day at the funeral home on Friday, December 12th, 2025 at 9 am, with Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with entombment to follow at 12:30 PM at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, 490 Lincoln Street, Santa Clara, CA 95050.
