Sherry Jean Hack

Sherry J. Hack, 80, of San Jose California, passed away on December 3, 2024. She is survived by her three children, Allan Hack, Christy LaRosa, and Monica Chandler, and by her Grandchildren, Timothy LaRosa Jr., Amber LaRosa, Caitlyn Altentaler, Sara McKeon, and Christian Carrillo.

Sherry was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and was raised in Sacramento, CA where she graduated from McClatchy High School.

Sherry was a stay at home mother until she started working at Hillsdale Elementary School as a classroom aide. Later she moved to the Franklin McKinley School District Office where she retired as an Executive Administrative Assistant. Sherry always looked forward to her monthly luncheons with her retired friends from the school and district office. As she got ill, getting to her luncheons were one of the hardest things for her to give up. She loved her friends dearly.

Sherry was known for her beautiful paintings that she created. She lovingly gifted many of her friends, family and even acquaintances with her art work.

There will not be an in person service for Sherry. In lieu of flowers or cards, please feel free to donate to your local community homeless shelters or animal shelter, to which she would appreciate, along with her family.
