Stella Jimenez Ortiz

Stella Jimenez Ortiz, entered in to the arms of our Lord, February 3, 2017, surrounded by the love of her sons, in San Jose, California, after a courageous battle with cancer. Stella was born in San Jose, California, on April 3, 1951, the youngest child of Antonio and Oralia Jimenez. Known as Mom, Wife, Grandma, Tia/Aunty, and friend, Stella was known as the life of the party, vivacious and enthusiastic. She celebrated her birthday each year surrounded by her family and friends, with music and a lot of joy. Stella was a longstanding member of the Moose Lodge, volunteering her time in supporting various charitable and civic activities. Stella was the proud mother of Artemis Renteria and Anthony Renteria, both members of the United States armed forces, the loving grandmother of Alissa, Katie, and Arielle, the adoring Mother-in- Law to Lynn, and the woman that we all aspired to be. After losing her husband, Manuel Ortiz, in 2005, she

found love and companionship once again with Johnny Guardado. In her later years, Johnny and Stella provided love, respect, and friendship to each other.

In addition to being survived by her children, grandchildren, and partner, she is also remembered by her loving brothers Antonio Jimenez Jr, Jose Jimenez, her sister Romelia Jimenez Nunez, nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends. A final viewing will be held at Oak Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Friday, February 10, 2017, beginning at 12:00 PM, followed by a Graveside Service at 2:00 PM.
