SSGT. Tani Murguia, passed away on Jan. 9, 2020 in Fort Lewis, WA.
The youngest of 4 brothers, Tani was born and raised in San Jose, CA. Tani graduated from Mount Pleasant High School and joined the Army after graduation. Tani served as a Chemical Specialist for over 15 years, which included deployments in Afghanistan and Iraq. He also was stationed overseas in Germany and South Korea, and also in Alaska and Washington, respectively.
He is survived by his parents Melesio and Martha Murguia, his brother Francisco Murguia, his brother Melesio and Rosa (Olmos) Murguia, nephews Michael and Jacob, his brother Jose Murguia, nephews Maddox and Rocco.
