February 6, 1926 – November 22, 2017
Our Amazing Father Tito A. Vasquez passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the age of 91. Tito was born to Petronillo and Eufemia Vasquez and raised in California. He found the love of his life Frances R. Savala, who preceded him in death in 2013, and they were married for nearly 60 years. His four children survive him; Timothy Vasquez Sr. (Suzi), Rosemarie Hoffman (Greg), Diane Gjersee and Dan Vasquez (Josh): his eight grandchildren Timothy Vasquez Jr. (Andrea), Anthony Vasquez (Melissa), Joseph Vasquez, Jennifer Flippen, Amanda Payne, Grant Hoffman, Aaron Gjersee and Brandon Gjersee: his five great-grandchildren Breanna, Savannah and Jovanni Vasquez and Xander and Haven Flippen.
Tito’s love and devotion for his family were unlimited and he was an amazing mentor to anyone that knew him. Tito was a hardworking man and he worked as a roofer for most of his life. When he wasn’t working Monday through Friday, he picked up side jobs on the weekends as he was the sole-provider for his family of five. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II. Tito’s love was unique and touched everyone. It was never hard to confide in Tito because of how deeply he could be trusted. He was a man of integrity and respected by all who knew him. The VASQUEZ name was carried on with pride because he was a great man. We love you dad, you will always be in our hearts. May you rest in peace.
