Mrs. Tomei Fu-Jung (Yang) Wang

It truly saddens our heart that we announce my Mom, Tomei Fu-Jung Wang, age 77, of San Jose, California passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024, at San Jose Regional Medical Center. She was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan on October 21, 1947 to Dr. Yang and Wife.

My Mom was married to Dr. James Kuo-Hwa Wang who passed away in 2005. She will be missed by family members and friends in US and Taiwan, especially her Son Peter, Son Charlie, Daughter Nancy, Son in Law Gary, Grandchildren Kurtis and Katie, Brothers, Sister, and the extended family, who survive her and will always remember her kindness and honor her with many wonderful memories.

My Mom was a Nurse. She had worked and served alongside my Dad for years, offering both medical assistances and patient cares for people in need.

While Siblings and I were growing up in Los Angeles, we remember how Mom took care of us, day in and day out, nurtured us with warmth and loves for over 15 years. (Our family came to the States in 1983 and Mom largely stayed with us throughout those memorable years, while Dad had to go back to Taiwan to carry out his medical practice) She drove us to schools, picked us up after classes, made us all very healthy with a good variety of wholesome homemade meals and cooking. She also was kind to all our neighbors. She truly touched the lives of people around her with kindness and respect. Charlie, Nancy and I can't appreciate her deeply enough, knowing and feeling the selfless sacrifice she had made in raising her Children and teaching us important family values and life's lessons - she was our guardian angel.

Maybe it was time that my Mom had decided to leave this world, but she will always live in our heart as we will always cherish her kindness and memories, appreciating all the loves she poured into our family throughout the years.

We sincerely pray to the almighty God that my Mom and Dad rejoin in Heaven.

Interment of Ashes: March 15, 2024, at 9:00 AM (Rose Hills Memorial Park, in Whittier, California)
