Virginia “Nana” Padilla beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend who lived eighty-one gracious years of life and a resident of San Jose, California went to be with his Lord on Thursday, April 11th, 2013 surrounded by her family at the White Blossom Care Center after a sudden and short battle with cancer. Virginia was born on August 14th, 1931 in Visalia, California . She was one out of thirteen children born to John and Lucy Sanchez. She attended Tulare Union were she graduated class of 1952. Her hobbies that brought the most joy were cooking, sewing, singing, dancing and helping others. She was involved in many service and social organizations with the faith of God and her sense of compassion brightened our lives. She always made time for all three generations of her kid’s special events spreading lots of laughter and love. Virginia is survived by her former husband Carlos Padilla Sr., children Carla Castillo(Carlos), Carlos Padilla Jr. (Stella), Sheila Padilla, Jerry Padilla(Sara), Sandra Burzota (Anthony predeceased in 2012). She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren & 11 Great-grandchildren with one more on the way, that will keep her remembered forever in their hearts.
