

William Hultzman, age 72, of San Jose, California, sadly passed away on September 24, 2024. He was a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. William was born on August 20, 1952, in Cleveland, Ohio. He grew up in Parma, Ohio. He pursued his studies in Accounting at Ohio State University before moving to California to advance his career. He served in roles such as CFO, Corporate Controller and VP of Finance.
Above all, Bill was a devoted father and, more recently, a loving grandfather. He cherished the time spent with his grandchildren Ezra and Cameron and his children, Kelly, and Ryan.
Family cookouts and watching his favorite sports teams brought him great joy. He was committed to being a nurturing and supportive presence in his children's lives, offering guidance, encouragement, and love through life's challenges. Family meant everything to him, and he found immense happiness in sharing laughter and connection with his family during family gatherings and reunions. In his leisure time, Bill was a passionate sports enthusiast and loved to cheer on his favorite basketball, football, and baseball teams, particularly his alma mater, Ohio State University. He was a long time Fantasy Sports participant with emphasis in Fantasy baseball and football. He always looked forward to sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm about sports.
Bill was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Ruth, and his father, William. He is survived by his children, Kelly (Bryan) and Ryan (Gabby), his grandchildren, Ezra and Cameron, his brother Bob Hultzman
(Carole), his sisters Judy Tretiakow (Mike) and Kathy Parker (Rick), and several nieces and nephews. He is fondly remembered as a devoted father, uncle, grandfather, cousin, and brother. His memory will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew him. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at Willow Glen Funeral Home in San Jose on October 26, 2024 at 1039 Lincoln Ave, San Jose, CA 95125 from 10:00 - 2:00. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association and the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
