Luis is survived by his esposa, Pura; his hijo Berti; his hijo Carlos; and his hija Vanessa; his hermano Papo, his hermano David and his hermano Danny; his nieto Jose Orlando, his nieto Giovanni, his nieto Diego, his nieto Jan, his nieta Natalia and his nieta Victoria.

A servicio funeral for Luis will be held Monday, March 21, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Puerto Rico Memorial, 1712 Avenida Ponce De Leon, Santurce, PR 00909. A sepelio will occur Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Cementerio Nacional de Puerto Rico, 50 Av. Cementerio Nacional, Bayamon, Puerto Rico 00961.
