Adda was the youngest of six siblings born to Thomas and Esther Terry in Huntley, Wyoming. She moved to Twin Falls, Idaho when she was 13, and graduated from Twin Falls High School. After High School Adda lived in Idaho, and enjoyed visiting her family in Montana and Missouri. Her nephews and nieces have fond memories of her visits as well as her unique and wonderful laugh. When Adda was about 28 years old, she moved to California and began her retail career in downtown San Rafael. Four years later, Adda went back to Idaho, helped her sister Margaret Jean pack up, and they moved to Fairfax, California to live together. Both sisters worked downtown San Rafael, Margaret Jean at a local bank, and Adda at Modern Eve. After work, the sisters and their friends would go to San Rafael Joes, which was the local hangout for the young working professionals in downtown. Adda met many lifelong friends there, as well as her future husband, George Brovelli who worked up the street at Cazassas’s Men’s Shop.

Later, when she and George owned Cazassas’s, she added a women’s clothing line, and they continued their operation until 1988 when they retired. They went on many road trips, including Yellowstone National Park, Washington State, and other places with their dear friends. Adda enjoyed golfing, traveling, and watching baseball and football. She was an avid San Francisco Giants and San Francisco 49ers fan.
Five years after her husband passed away, Adda moved to Drake Terrace, joining her sister-in-law Ruth Brovelli. She and Ruth shared pleasant times and meals together each noon and evening at Drake Terrace. and she truly appreciated all the kindness and care that was given to her by the staff.
