Edward Paul Skubic Born January 1, 1929 died May 31, 2013 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Barbara and four sons: Michael and his wife Alison, Steven and his wife Jill, Jeffrey and his wife Alyssa and Robert and his wife Christina; as well as eight grandchildren James, Taryn, Jordan, Bradley, Spencer, Erica, Sophia and Joe. Born in Oak Park, Illinois he served in the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1953. He made his career as a graphic designer. In 1968 he moved with his family to San Rafael to work for the design firm of Landor Associates until he retired in 1991. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Hospice by the Bay 17 East Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Larkspur, CA 94939. Memorial services will be held at Church of St. Isabella 1 Trinity Way San Rafael, CA 94903 at 1:00PM Friday June 7, 2013.
