

She graduated from George Washington High School in 1973 and began her long career with several major museums in the Bay Area. She began at the Planetarium as an Usher, then moved up to Admin. Assistant at California Academy of Sciences, the Exploratorium, and Bay Area Discovery Museum.
She was very active in the Star Trek Universe and other fandoms. She was well known and loved in the fandom world, often working at various conventions. She was an avid murder mystery reader and follower of James Paterson, collecting many of his books. She loved Neil Diamond and Barry Manilow. Liz was known to travel many miles to attend a Neil Diamond concert.
Throughout her life she had numerous cats, which brought her much joy.
She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Scott Keough, and her partner, Stacy Doyle, who passed in 2014. She will be missed by many friends.
Celebration of Life services will be held at Keaton’s Redwood Chapel of Marin on Saturday, Nov. 2nd at 10:00am.
