Marie Z. Perry

Marie Z. Perry Born in San Francisco, November 7th 1909, left the world peacefully on Saturday April 23rd, 2016 at the age of 106 in the comfort of her home. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Robert W. Perry, and her Son Ralph Armstrong. She is survived by her daughter Carol Paretchan Meyer, three grandchildren, Lynne and Mark Paretchan and Lauren Brunner, and step grandchildren Henry and Marc Meyer. Marie was the loving great grandmother to Steven, Charlie and Mia Paretchan, Also to Nathan and Caroline Brunner. In addition she leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends that have been a big part of her 106 year journey. Marie worked for many years for the City and County of San Francisco. Most notably, she was Justin Herman's personal secretary for more than 10 years while they transformed the Embarcadero of San Francisco. A Celebration of her life will be held at Keaton's Chapel in San Rafael, Saturday May 7th at 2:00 PM. Following the celebration friends and family are invited to the Keaton's hall for refreshments and to share memories. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Saint Vincent De Paul Society of Marin would be appreciated.
