
Paraskevi “Pat” Karavolos, of Terra Linda, Calif., age 83, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Kardamyla, Chios, Greece on August 21, 1930, she was the youngest of seven children born to George and Erini Tsapelas,
Pat was a devoted member of Nativity of Christ Greek Orthodox Church in Novato. She was very involved with all activities and loved the fellowship of the church. She was well known for the delicious Loukoumades she made for many years at the Greek Festival. Pat is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Steve, her daughter and love of her life, Carrie Clark-Delfino (Kenneth), brother, Dimitri Tsapelas of Greece, numerous nieces and nephews in California, New York and Greece and a multitude of close friends who will miss the kindness she was known for.
A Trisaigon service will be held at Nativity of Christ Greek Orthodox Church, 1110 Highland Drive, Novato, Calif. on Monday, February 10 at 6 p.m. Funeral service on Tuesday, February 11 at 11:30 a.m. at Nativity of Christ. Donations may be made to Nativity of Christ Greek Orthodox Church. Keaton’s Mortuary assisting the family with arrangements.
