On behalf of the Marin County Child Care Commission, I share our heartfelt condolences to Ruth's family and friends. She was a loving and strong warrior in many ways, including as a leader in our child care community. She served since 2016 as a commissioner representing the Marin Child Care Council and her bright mind, radiant smile, big heart, and joyful spirit will truly be missed.

Oh Ruth! You helped many of us Family Child Care Providers here in Marin county in innumerable occasions! I can’t say enough about  your unconditional love for your work. In fact, you always go above and beyond!  Ruth, we might not know the exact number of how  many Spanish/Portuguese speakers you  helped (translating workshops and documents) throughout these years that  you worked at the MC3, but I can testify there were many! So, in name of this large group of people who where helped and touched by your passion and dedication I just want to say: thank you. Thank you dear Ruth Pineda. May you Rest In Peace now after an arduous war against what is taking so many dear people from their families. I have your family in my prayers. Please know that you’ll be forever in my thoughts. Every time I open this door I’ll be reminded of you and your legacy in this world.

Mayra was the definition of love, strength and peace. I am grateful to have grown up with such a beautiful soul. I will carry our memories forever in my heart. I love you Mayra!

Quisiera por este medio darle mis mas sinceros sentimientos a la familia de mi compañera de high school. Quien comparti momentos en las aulas, pasillos y con quien quizas deje de tener contacto desde 2014 ,pero aun asi recuerdo su linda sonrisa y su gran personalidad. No tengo fotos, pero si recuerdo de ella como fue y será en nuestros corazones. Lo q nos debe aliviar es q ella ahora se encuentra libre d dolor . No es facil me imagino para sus seres asimilar y resignarse, pero con el paso del tiempo eso pasara, pero jamas la olvidaremos,
