Edith Lillian O'Neil

The essence of Lil’s life was her unwavering dedication to her faith and her family. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 57 years Richard O’Neil, her seven children; Daniel and his wife Kathy of Medfield, Peter and his wife Julie of Burlington, Paul and his wife Karen of Manchester, NH, Christopher and his wife Nancy of Watertown, Judy (McMorrow) and her husband Colm of Sandwich, Philip of Templeton, and Janet (Lucey) and her husband John of Needham. Cherished “Grandma” to her 14 grandchildren Jennifer, Colin, Conor, Danielle, Ryann, Lauren, Madison, Jack, Kevin, Brian, Thomas, Sarah, Erin, and Kara. Dear sister of James Kelly of Sandwich, Alice Griffin and Patricia Smith of Concord and the late Helen MacDonald, Rita Kelly, Millie Oliver, Irene Hammond, and Nancy Carroll.

Calling hours Friday Jan. 17th 4pm-7pm at the Nickerson Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A, Sandwich. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday Jan. 18th. at 10:30 a.m. at the Corpus Christi Parish, 324 Quaker Meeting House Rd. East Sandwich. Private burial will be held at The Massachusetts National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Corpus Christi Parish of Sandwich.
