

Erica S. Long, 28, passed away at her home in Falmouth on July 11, 2017 after a long and hard-fought battle with addiction. Erica was raised in Sandwich where she graduated from Sandwich High School in 2007. She attended Framingham State University and later earned her Massachusetts Cosmetology License which enabled her to embark on a career she loved and excelled in.
Erica was the beloved daughter of Susan M. Curley of Sandwich and the Late Eric R. Long. She is survived by her loving sisters Jill A. Sbordone (husband Alex) of Waltham and Molly C. Richcreek (husband Donald) of Mashpee. She leaves five cherished nieces and nephews. She was the granddaughter of Earle Long, formerly of Bourne and the niece of Michal (Long) and Edward Dalton of Boston, Timothy Long of Utah, Patrick Curley of Newton and Brian Curley of Hanover. She will be missed by many cousins.
Erica was a beautiful, intelligent and strong-willed young woman who loved life despite the challenges imposed by addiction. She loved animals, tubing at Scorton Creek and fishing with friends. She had an adventurous spirit and a keen sense of humor. Her passing leaves an enormous void in our lives and she will be forever loved and missed.
Erica had many gifts and tried always to help others battling the same disease. Please honor her memory by reaching out to a friend or family member who may be struggling.
