
F. Dow Clark of Sandwich, Massachusetts passed away on October 24, 2025 at Cape Cod Hospital at the age of 77 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Newton, Massachusetts to the late Frank D. and Joyce Clark (Townsend) on July 5, 1948, Dow grew up in North Falmouth, Massachusetts and was a graduate of Lawrence high school.
Dow is remembered for being a hard-working, honest, loyal, generous and direct man - known for calling a spade a spade. Dow owned Marine Services & Electronics for nearly 50 years and operated Prince’s Cove Marina in Marstons Mills for over 30 years. It was through running his business where Dow forged many cherished lifelong friendships. Dow was an avid lover and collector of classic cars, completely restoring a vintage 1930 Ford Model A and could be regularly found attending classic car shows throughout Cape Cod and the South Shore. In his downtime, Dow could be found tinkering endlessly with his cars and building ship models in his beloved garage.
Dow is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Martha (Townes) of Sandwich, Ma; his son, Christopher Clark, wife April and son Thomas of Chesapeake, Va; his daughters, Katie Carruth, husband Chris Carruth, and their children, Grace and Benjamin of Centerville, Ma and Colleen Supple, husband Ryan Supple and their children Weston and Grant of Sandwich, Ma. He is also survived by his sister, Bonnie Rainnie of Jacksonville, Florida and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dow’s family wishes to express extreme gratitude to Crystal of CenterWell Home Health and the incredible doctors, nurses and support staff of Cape Cod Hospital for their care and compassion in Dow’s final days.
A Celebration of Life will be hosted at The Sagamore (Inn) on November 22nd, 2025 from 1-4pm.
