

Frank S. Caruso, 86, of E. Sandwich, (formerly of Braintree) died at home, July 29, 2011 after a brief illness. Born in Quincy, he was the son of the late Gaetano and Maria Caruso. He and his late wife, Marjorie Jean (McClelland), were married for 61 years. He was the loving father of Paul and his wife Kerrie of Marstons Mills and David and his wife Michelle of Carver. He was the grandfather of Robert Caruso of Weymouth, Patrick Caruso of Charlestown and Justin Caruso of Marstons Mills. Mr. Caruso was a veteran of the U.S. Army. During his working years he was employed by First National Stores for 39 years, Mayflower Seafoods, and as a commercial fisherman. Mr. Caruso was a member of the Braintree Yacht Club, MA Striped Bass Association, and the Nantasket Beach Saltwater Club. He also loved watching the Bruins. In addition to his children and grandchildren, Mr. Caruso is survived by a sister, Mary Ericson of Osterville. A private graveside service will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
