Jeffrey Anthony Romero

ROMERO, Jeffrey Anthony, 59, of Sandwich, MA formerly of Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on June 11, 2023. He was born in Fort Jackson, SC to the late Daniel Joseph Romero and Sally M. Cox (Vigil) on December 14, 1963.

Jeff grew up in Fort Collins, CO where he graduated from Rocky Mountain high school. He attended one year at Colorado State University. Jeff joined the Army in 1984 and after two years he was granted an ROTC scholarship and attended the University of Northern Colorado and graduated with a Bachelors in Business. He then rejoined the army in 1989 achieving the highest rank of Captain. Jeff was also an Airborne Ranger. Jeff left the Army, and worked as a special agent for the FBI in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Jeff was part of the Heritage Christian Church in East Falmouth for many years.

He is survived by his loving daughter Colleen A. Romero of Sandwich, MA, his brother Daniel K. Romero of Hereford, TX. Sister Dannette Barnett of Oklahoma. And several nephews and nieces. He will be missed by many family, friends, and co-workers.

A Burial with full military honors will be held on Wednesday June 21st at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, Ma at 10AM, everyone is welcome to join please arrive by 9:45AM to the cemetery.
