Katharine Elizabeth D'Andrea

Born in Boston, on September 22, 1951, to Albert Swett and Alice Hayes, Katharine graduated with a Bachelor's degree in education at Michigan University. She started her career as a Kindergarten teacher, later she embraced her passion of travel into a long standing career as a Corporate Travel Agent, assisting executives with their itineraries and accommodations that expanded the globe. Katharine and Paul were married in Braintree on September 15, 1990. She lived in Quincy for over 20 years until retiring from Dunkin Brands in 2004 and moving to Cape Cod.

In addition to traveling the world, Katharine enjoyed reading endless books, being an unofficial family food critic, exploring new places to eat on Cape Cod, and spending time with the grand-kids, along with nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband, Paul, Katharine is survived by her Stepson Paul W. D'Andrea Jr., Stepdaughter, Corrine Doyle and her husband Matt Doyle. Grandsons; William C. & Connor M. D'Andrea, and Colin J. & Bryan Doyle. Her sister, Susan Burke, and brother, Peter Swett, Sr. and his wife Carol. Nieces; Erin Cox and her husband Jason, Kimberly Swett, and nephews; Gerald Burke & Peter Swett, Jr and his wife Kelly. Grandnieces; Chloe Cox, Emma Burke.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 18th from 10:00am to 1:00pm, in the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A, Sandwich. Burial will be private.
