Lorette Brun

Lorette (Cormier) Brun, 78, passed away quietly on Friday, June 13, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Cormier and the late Jeanne (LeBlanc) Cormier. She was the wife of Donald J. Brun. She resided most of her life in Sandwich and also had lived in Ellenton, FL.

In addition to her husband she is survived by 3 sons, Ronald Brun and his wife Donna, Robert Brun and his wife Sandra, Daniel Brun and his wife Lisa all of Massachusetts. She also leaves a brother, Norman Cormier and a sister, Delia Cormier both living in Canada. She is predeceased by her brothers Honore and Alcide and sisters Eugenie and Florine.

Mrs. Brun was a devoted wife for 58 years, mother, grandmother to 7, great-grandmother to 3, and was loved by many nieces and nephews. She loved her family and enjoyed traveling, cooking, entertaining in her home and her dog Gi-Gi.

In addition she enjoyed photography, researching her family heritage and helping those in need. Lorette was a friend to many and an active member in her church. She will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 11th, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 154 Route 6A Sandwich, MA. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, July 12th, at 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church in Sandwich, MA. Interment in Sandwich Town Cemetery.
