

WEYMOUTH- Margaret Pearl Morrison of Weymouth, died Thursday, August 18, 2011 after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Francis Vincent Morrison, Sr. for 58 years. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of Maude and Guy Miller. Margaret was raised along with ten siblings in Boston, and attended Boston Schools. She loved gardening and kept her yard beautiful with flowers. She also collected and treasured dolls. Along with Sewing, knitting, quilting, and crocheting; she loved Photography and Calligraphy. In later years, she was a valued volunteer at the Weymouth Senior Center. Margaret is survived by her son, Francis Vincent Morrison, Jr. and wife Rita of Boca Raton, Fla. A son, Lawrence John Morrison and wife Patricia of Sandwich. A granddaughter Amanda (Morrison) Flannery and her husband Tim of Hingham and a Grandson, Michael Morrison of Sandwich. She also leaves her niece, Lynda Landry and family of Bourne. Margaret (Peggy) was devoted to her home and family and will be dearly missed by all.
A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service will be held at Nickerson-
Bourne Funeral Home on Rt. 154 6A in Sandwich, MA on Tuesday, August 30th- Visitation with Family and Friends will begin at 11:00 A.M.-Memorial Service at 12:00 PM (noon) Burial will follow immediately at the Bourne National Cemetery.
The Family requests that donations be made to the American Heart
Association, or Cape Cod Hospice and Palliative Care in lieu of flowers
