Maria Grace Amaral

Born in Saint Michael, Azores a daughter of the late Roberto and Maria Teresa (Costa) Lopes.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Polaroid Corporation for 27 years, followed by Bridgewater State University for 10 years.

In addition to her husband, Grace is survived by a daughter Kimberly Tsakalos and her husband Anthony of Sandwich, MA; siblings Jose Lopes and his wife Ana of Portugal, Estrela Carvalho and her husband Victor of Taunton, MA, Paula Costa and her husband Luis of Taunton, MA, Fatima Mota and her husband Jose of New Hampshire and Paz Bonilla of Taunton, MA; grandchildren, Noah Faidell, Thomas Tsakalos, and Alexander Tsakalos. She was predeceased by her siblings Maria Rosario Nunes and Mario Lopes.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 154 Route 6A Sandwich, MA. Visitation prior to service 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at the Sandwich Town Cemetery.
