Born and raised in Taunton, the daughter of the late John Donald and Barbara Jean (Murphy) Wade. She enjoyed her first 18 blissful summers with her family on Martha’s Vineyard and missed being born an Islander by just one day.
She never complained, no matter how hard the hand life dealt her. She held her head high and simply asked “What may I do for you?”. She was mischievous and magical in the joy she brought to everyone around her.
She was widely and fondly regarded for her kindness and giving nature. She would give you a hug, and make sure you knew you were loved and adored. A graduate of Coyle-Cassidy high school, she studied art at Bridgewater State and Stonehill College and her talent was always bringing joy to the eye.
Nancy is survived by her devoted husband of 33 years, Mark. She is also survived by her daughter Madeline Robitille and her husband, Shane and grandchildren Cameron Mark and Hazel Jane; son Samuel and his love Maranda; Two sisters, Laurie Ann King (husband Joseph and nephews Christopher and Brendan and niece Colleen) of Manchester, NH and Judy Aparicio (husband Robert and nieces Julia and Christa) of Taunton; a brother Eugene Wade; and 5 additional adoring nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 17th at Corpus Christi Parish in East Sandwich followed by a reception at the Pilot House, Sandwich.
In lieu of flowers, Nancy’s last request was that everyone commit a random act of kindness in her memory, plant flowers, visit your local library and stay curious.
