I remember being aroung 3 or 4 and your mom coming over our house on Underhill St. Otis AFB. She put me in a dark blue bathing suit with dark green and light green stripes across the chest. She was taking me to the beach. It was my first memory of ever going to the beach, let alone anywhere fun except my grandmothers. It was a total surprise.

Norma was such a wonderful person. I loved working in the Bourne Braves snackbar with her as a child and her deviled eggs were often a huge hit at my family parties, but some of my favorite memories were traveling with her. She may have taught me a thing or two about a slot machine 😉
