Robert "Bob" Paul

EAST SANDWICH - Robert “Bob” Paul, of East Sandwich, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017, at Falmouth Hospital.

He was the loving husband of Alice L. (Oldfield) Paul.

Born in Framingham, a son of the late Edmund W. and Mary L. (Evans) Paul, he resided in Sandwich for the past 14 years, previously living in Ashland.

Bob attended Northeastern University and had worked for Raytheon for 43 years. He enjoyed fishing and playing bridge.

Besides his wife of 56 years, he is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Ann Ostrom of Sandwich; two sons, Robert J. Paul Jr. of Long Beach, Miss., and Daniel E. Paul of Dayton, Maine; six grandchildren, Chelsea Tony and her husband Jon, Nathan Ostrom, Josh Ostrom, Michael Paul, Kevin Ostrom and Brianna Paul; and a great-granddaughter, Ivy Ostrom.

His funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Hope Chapel, Route 6A, West Barnstable. Interment in Wildwood Cemetery, Ashland. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2017, at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A, Sandwich.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Sandwich Fire Department for saving his life many years ago.
