

Theodore Ralph Mullin, 63, of Centerville, MA, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 23, 2023. Ted was born in Worcester, MA on October 7, 1959. He graduated from Barnstable High School in 1977 where he served as Class President during his senior year. Upon graduating from BHS, he attended Johnson State College and Bentley College where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Management in 1983. He went on to have a successful career in the staffing and workforce solutions industry for more than 20 years.
Ted was the son of the late William E. and Marjorie M. Mullin. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary (Karacalidis), his high school sweetheart and love of his life. In addition he is survived by his three sons, Lucas, Matthew and Jason, his brothers Robert and Stephen Mullin, his sister Jeanne Steinmetz, his sister-in-laws Linda Mullin and Sophia Makris, his brother-in-laws Douglas Steinmetz and Marco Karacalids, his father-in-law Lefteri Karacalidis and his many nieces and nephews.
Ted was a devoted family man. He shared his love of the Cape and the mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire with his family by spending time at the beach, golfing, camping, and skiing. He also enjoyed traveling with his family.
Ted was active in his community, volunteering his time with the Recreation Department of Sandwich for over 14 years and was an avid booster of Sandwich High School athletics. In his last selfless act on earth, Ted was an organ donor and gave the gift of life to others.
A wake will be held at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A Sandwich on Wednesday, May 3rd from 4-7PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 4th at 11AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Centerville, MA. The burial will be held at the Sandwich Town Cemetery.
