Born in Norwood, Ginny was the daughter of the late Douglas Clifford and Etta Marie (Bishop) Brown. She worked at Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant for 26 years before enjoying her employment at the Lilly Pad in Mashpee Commons and Gosnold Treatment Center as a Recovery Aid.
Ginny was an avid beach goer, especially to her beloved East Sandwich Beach. She was such a sun goddess that when there was cold weather on the Cape, she would travel to warm destinations to enjoy the sun upon her face. She loved to sing and dance to music and reading was more than a hobby.
Ginny was a woman full of grace, courage and humor. She was known for her quick smile, contagious laugh and making people feel loved, respected and valued. Always a welcoming person, Ginny embraced people as if they were family. She loved her friends, and had a special bond with the friends of Bill W. She was continuously ready to quietly and humbly help others in whatever capacity needed. She will be deeply missed.
Ginny is survived by her daughter, Jillian Simmons Capone and husband Justin of Centerville, her
son, Jonathan Alexander Campbell of Sandwich and the mother of his son, Marta Aylmer of Barnstable. Also survived by her sister, Carolyn Navachinsky of Centerville, grandson, Mason Alexander Campbell along with one grandchild on the way. In addition, Virginia leaves her adored nieces, Deb and Jen.
