

Ginny was born on December 2, 1930, to the late Frank C. and Alma E. (Wetzler) Field. Ginny was preceded in death by her beloved brother Frank C. Field and his wife Rita. After graduating from Roslindale High School in 1951, she set sail for Europe to marry her high school sweetheart, Jerry, who was stationed in Germany while serving in the Air Force during the Korean War. Upon their return they lived in Ashland, Ma before relocating to Roslindale, Ma in 1960.
Ginny cherished her family and devoted her energy to her children and later her grandchildren. Ginny was an active member of the Sacred Heart Church in Roslindale and volunteered at the Parish Rectory. Ginny was a member of the Walpole German Club, Boylston Schul-Verein, and an avid cribbage player. She also taught ceramics.
Ginny loved spending her winters in Florida and summers in West Yarmouth. The "Cape House" was the focal point for the family. Days were spent fishing or relaxing at the beach on Lewis Bay, followed by late afternoon cocktails and backyard BBQ.
She is survived by a son Mark Sullivan and his wife Kerin of Dennis, Ma, three daughters Susan Rugnetta and her husband Joseph of Medfield, Roberta Coffey and her husband Stephen of Forestdale, Ma and Paula Lahoud and her husband Joseph of Franklin; grandchildren Christopher, Jeffrey, Michael, David and Sarah; great grandchildren Ronan, Elowen, Amy, Emily and Clementine. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Decatur House, Sandwich, Ma.
A Private Service will be held by the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 154 Route 6A, Sandwich, Ma.
