

Eccleston , William Henry “Bill “,62, of Warwick R.I. originally from Sandwich MA, passed away on December 1, 2020 at his residence in Warwick. He was born to Mary Foley (Gray) and the late William “Bill “ Waterhouse in Wareham, MA on June 22, 1958. Bill grew up in Sandwich and attended Sandwich high school.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army corps of engineers for 2 1/2 years and the Army National Guard for 17 years. He was a member of the Clark- Hadded Post 188 and a most recent member of William shields post 43 Warwick R.I. where he held the office of Sgt. at arms. He was also a member of the Oakland beach fire barn. Bill worked as a truck driver/ laborer for the Sandwich highway department And as a delivery driver for Falmouth lumbar.
He is survived by his wife Jennifer Hammond -Eccleston. His children Theresa Eccleston, Jennifer Wilbar and Christopher “ Bub “ Eccleston of MA. His brothers John, Kevin, and Robert Eccleston of MA. He also leaves behind his beloved dog Pete .
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday December 15th, 11AM, at Corpus Christi Parish, 326 Quaker Meeting House Rd. Sandwich, MA, with a Livestream of the service being held on www.corpuschristiparish.org all are encouraged to watch online due to COVID-19. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA, 12:45PM.
