Alice was a lovely lady.   I first met her on the trip to Scotland for Josh and Kate’s wedding.  She was always a pleasure and a great traveler.  She will be missed by all.  Love, Cindy McBride.

I am so sorry to learn of Alice’s death. I learned too late to attend her service but have wonderful memories of our days at the Barony.  Please accept my deepest condolences.  She was a special person.

Alice was a beautiful person inside and out, and  a wonderful friend.  We lived in the same condo complex and played cards together every Wednesday. I will miss her wonderful smile and friendship.

Dearest Alice will be missed! Being neighbors at The Barony, She and I always had a naughty chuckle about something fun…like men, fashion, hair and the whole aging thing.

She often assisted me with phone calls to Germany while I was doing research and speaking with municipal officials in the former East German home of my stepmother. 🇩🇪 
The project was mission accomplished  and of course we imbibed a bit along the way.

I had the pleasure of working with Alice at The Barony on Peachtree. I was the property manager of the association from October-May, and Alice and I grew close during that time. She knew so much about the building, and through her service was able to make sure things ran well, and she always had an answer anytime I had a question. I made it a point to visit her once every week or two and would help her with anything she needed. She sent me home with Easter baskets for my two boys earlier this year which they loved. In the short time I knew her, I knew Alice to be kind, caring, strong, wise, and very supportive. I already miss her and feel better knowing she is now at peace with her late husband. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and close friends, we lost an amazing lady.

I worked with Alice on many occasions at the Piedmont Atlanta Hospital Gift Shop, along with Bette and Carolyn,  AKA The ABC Girls.  Enjoyed many Thursday mornings with her. Would run into her often at the Peachtree Battle Shopping Center, where we both lived within walking distance.  Will miss your laugh and smile my friend.  Rest well.

Piedmont Hospital.  We had many laughs together and I will miss her. She was a trouper and I loved her German accent. So glad I called her last week and had a little chat with her. Sending Love and prayers.

Mrs. Quintus was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Stefan Quintus and brother, Werner Thelen. She is survived by her daughter, Sue Quintus Bowen and her husband, Timothy; grandchildren, Joshua Bowen (Kate Williams), Andrew Bowen, Raechal Bowen; and sister-in-law, Dianne Thelen.
