Carole Andrews Wages

Carole Andrews Wages passed away to glory on June 28, 2016 in Atlanta, Georgia. The daughter of Clayton and Effie Andrews, she was born on August 26, 1940, in Birmingham, Alabama. After graduating from Shades Valley High School, she attended Auburn University. Carole’s love and devotion to her redeemer Jesus Christ and family, her keen eye for all things beautiful as well as her wonderful sense of humor and encouraging spirit will be sorely missed. She was a long time member of Chalcedon Presbyterian Church. Carole is survived by her husband of nearly 57 years, Hugh Donald “Si” Wages, son, Donald Madison Wages, daughter, Sharon White (Larry); grandchildren Leigh Anne, Claire and John III Hartrampf; sister Sharon Flannagan (Roy); niece, Lauren Thacker and nephews, John and Taylor Flannagan, Clay Andrews and sister-in-law, Paula Andrews. She is preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Caroline Hartrampf and brother Dale Andrews. The family requests that donations be made to Ovarian Cancer Institute, 960 Johnson Ferry Road, Suite 130, Atlanta, GA 30342 in memory of Carole Wages. There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, 11:00 a.m., at Fellowship Bible Church, 480 Crossville Road, Roswell, GA 30075. There will be a private interment at Arlington Memorial Park, Atlanta.
