

Mr. D.C. Taylor, 78, of Atlanta died Sunday, the 28th of July, 2013. He is survived by his beloved wife, Artie Mims Taylor, and children, Steve Taylor and his wife, Diane, of Indiana, Charlotte Taylor Seefeldt and her husband, Dale, of Atlanta, and Jeremy Taylor, Sergeant First Class US Army. He was the extremely proud grandfather of Seth Taylor, Specialist US Army, Nathaniel Seefeldt, and McKenzie Seefeldt. He is also survived by his sister, Virginia Taylor Worrell. He was a loving husband, dad, and papa. He was preceded in death by his father, DeKelber Taylor, mother, Sally Taylor, sister, Juanita Wilson, and brothers, Leon and Frank Taylor. After growing up in Chicora, Mississippi, D. C. moved to Lacoochee, FL and met the love of his life Artie Mims. They married in 1955. His legacy is a strong moral compass and one of service to others. D. C. was active in the Boy Scouts of America, Masonic Lodge, and his church. He enjoyed square dancing and was an avid gardener. D. C. retired from Winn Dixie Grocery in Florida. Services celebrating D.C.’s life will be held Wednesday, the 31st of July at 11 o’clock Patterson’s Arlington Chapel. His ashes will be laid to rest on Saturday morning, August 3rd at the Chapel Hill Gardens in Dade City, FL.
