Denmark Groover, III died suddenly on Monday, February 15, 2016. He grew up in Macon before leaving Georgia for Harvard College. After completing his studies and serving as an Army Medic in Vietnam, he opted to lead a simple life of service. For the past few years he battled Parkinson’s with grace and courage. Denmark wished to be cremated and have his remains spread at Lotus Garden Meditation Center in Stanley, VA. Denmark is survived by his brothers; Charles Terry Groover and Duke Riley Groover and his nephews; Pearce Denmark Groover, Noah Maxwell Groover and Jacob Eaton Groover.
