Mr. George W. Newsom, Jr., 84, a resident of Sandy Springs died Wednesday the 25th of June 2014. Surviving are his children, George W. Newsom, III “Chet”, Nancy N. Pavuk, John C. Newsom; 4 grandchildren; and sister, Virginia N. Collar. Memorial services will be held Thursday, the 3rd of July at twelve o’clock, noon at Patterson’s Arlington Chapel. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Tranquility Hospice, 475 Dickson Avenue, Marietta, GA 30064. Friends are cordially invited to visit with the family Thursday from eleven o’clock until the hour of service at H. M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
