Reverend Harry A. Shepherd, 86, of Lilburn died on Saturday, the 9th of December 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Perry Nesbitt Shepherd, Effie Anna Shepherd, brother, Rev. Dr. H. B. Shepherd, sisters, Louise Clem, Daisy Mitchell, and children, Al Shepherd and Janet Marie Wages. Surviving are his wife, Jo Shepherd; son, Mark Shepherd; daughter-in-law, Debbie Shepherd; son-in-law, Al Wages; grandchildren, Danielle Shepherd, Lauren Shepherd, Kaylee Shepherd, Hannah and her husband, Jason Wade; great-granddaughter, Raylen Wade; sisters, Doris Kalenian, Sarah Taylor, Annie Hyde, and Nell Morris; and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, the 12th of December from 11AM until 12:15PM at H.M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Graveside services will be held at 12:30PM at Arlington Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Chris George officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Smoke Rise Baptist Church, 5901 Hugh Howell Road, Stone Mountain, GA 30087.
