Helen M. Ragen

Mrs. Ragen was a graduate of Illinois State University where she received her teaching degree. She spent many years in education where she was an art teacher, resource teacher, substitute, and a teaching assistant. Helen was a long-time resident of the Sandy Springs area, having moved there in 1963.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, William John Ragen. She was the beloved Mom to her son, Brian Ragen (Debbie); daughter, Kate Szynski(Michael); and Nana to her grandchildren, Connor Ragen, Spencer Ragen and McKenna Cowart (Jack).

A Memorial Mass will be Friday June 20, 2025 1pm at Holy Spirit Catholic Church 4665 Northside Dr., Atlanta, GA 30327. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park.
