Mr. Irwin Wolff, 87, of Atlanta died on Friday, the 6th of February 2015. A veteran of WWII, Irwin was a member of The Temple. He was past Commander of the Jewish War Veterans, Post 976. Irwin was a successful civil engineer, a world traveler, but more importantly he was a brilliant man. His family meant everything to him. Irwin was preceded in death by his son-in-law, James S.S. Howell and is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 65 years, Selma Wolff; daughters, Donna Howell, Linda Wolff Pallay; grandsons and their wives, Matthew and Ashley Howell, Jonathan and Abbey Howell; great-grandsons, Hampton and Holden Howell; brother, Edwin Wolff; niece and nephew, Cheryl Willis and Jay Blumenthal; and other numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Monday afternoon at half past one o’clock at Arlington Memorial Park with Rabbi David Spinrad officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
