She attended Auburn University where she met her beloved husband of 43 years, the late Henry B. Green. She graduated from Oglethorpe University and began an illustrious career as an elementary school teacher. An active member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church for 64 years, Jane served as an elder and as President of Women of the Church, received the Life Membership Award, and taught Bible study to both young and old. She was a respected antique dealer and ASA certified appraiser for 30 years. She was a gracious hostess, an award winning cook, and always had a smile and a plan for the next trip. She was a member of the same bridge club for 50 years.
