Jane D. Scruggs

Jane Dickinson Scruggs, 96 of Atlanta, died July 2, 2025. Mrs. Scruggs was preceded in death by her parents, Ingram and Sylvia Dickinson; brother, John Dickinson; and sister, Carolyn Tynes. She is survived by her sons, Edward Scruggs (Sherry), John Scruggs, William Scruggs (Bernadette); grandchildren, John Edward Scruggs, Bill Scruggs, Shaun Scruggs; great grandchildren, Logan Scruggs, Jacob Scruggs, Edith Wren Scruggs, Finnegan Scruggs; and sister, Martha Griffin. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Atlanta Humane Society or to the charity of your choice.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 11, 2025 at 1 o’clock at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. Following the interment there will be a reception with the family at Patterson’s Arlington Chapel.
