Jim Bunting

Born in Burlington, NC, he was the husband of Penny Martin Bunting and son of the late James Russell Bunting and Margaret Lucille Matson Bunting. He was a graduate of MacArthur High School in Hollywood, FL, the President of Futuro Company, and a member of Cherokee Creek Baptist Church. He loved his wife, his family, and his friends. Jimmy loved spending time with his dog “Ranger,” who preceded him in death; loved the beach, deep sea fishing, golf, horses, his farm, and riding cross country on his Harley with friends. One of his favorite times was going to Church at First Baptist Church in Atlanta with his sisters.

In addition to his wife, also surviving are two sisters: Martha Henson (Jerry) and Monica Strickland (Dewayne).

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on January 18th at H.M. Patterson’s Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd. NE, Sandy Springs, GA, with a visitation at 1:00 pm.
