Jack was so deeply loved, and will be so incredibly missed, by his wife, Ellen Lander, his sons, Jack and Marc, his granddaughters Victoria and Annie Rose, other members of his clan and his many, dear friends who loved and cherished him.
Kindness and generosity were two traits that highlighted Jack’s personality, representing the good that we all need every day in our lives. His ability to sacrifice, support, forgive and love will be forever engrained in all he knew. Whether you needed to talk, to laugh or to just hang out with an all-around great human being over a good meal and a bottle of wine, he was your go-to guy.
We will all miss his smile, his humor, his caring, his friendship, his love. We’ve lost a special man. Grá go Deo.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in honor of Jack may be made to the Hospice Foundation of America Inc.
A memorial service with a reception following the service will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 11 o’clock at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
