Mary Beth Weber Kennedy, 69, of Atlanta died on Thursday, the 24th of October 2019. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, transcendent is defined as “extending or lying beyond the limits of ordinary experience”; which is the perfect word to describe Mary Beth Kennedy. An avid lover of art, music, fashion, and animals; she lived her life unapologetically and tenaciously by the beat of her own drum. Mary Beth was effortlessly funny, articulate, and quick witted; her infectious laughter easily brightened any room she was in. She was welcoming and warm. Mary Beth was an engaging storyteller when chronicling her adventures as a Delta flight attendant and her travels all over the world. Mary Beth fiercely loved her children, grandchildren, and her faithful, furry companion Indiana. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her, but we receive comfort in the knowledge her transcendent and extraordinary light is now with the God she loved. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Stacia Lynn and Vico Quintero, Christina Carson and Jai Tucker; son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Danielle Cook; grandchildren, Alexa, Adriana, James, Jackson; sister, Nancy Yocum; brother, Robert Weber; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, the 2nd of November at two o’clock at Patterson’s Arlington Chapel. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Atlanta Humane Society, 981 Howell Mill Rd., Atlanta, GA 30318. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family Friday from six until eight o’clock in the evening at H.M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
